     A character I started
 drawing in  1983  when I
was living in the French
 ski resort of Val d`Isere.

    He was based off two
 great  guys I met  there.
   One was an American Russell Blair an
 amazing skier,  respected  by all and the
other, a real nutter, a Canadian Louis
Pacelle.  Who arrived at the beginning of
 each  season with  sun  bleached   blond
hair and a black beard.
